SSA Online Sales Purchase Terms and Conditions


The following describes the terms and conditions which SSA offers for our online purchase.
Before placing any order with SSA Online sales, please read and accept all the terms and conditions including the Personal Data Protection Policy.
Do note that our business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. All orders made will be processed within 5 business days.

1. Order Acceptance Policy

The receipt of an email order does not constitute the acceptance of an order. The SSA Sales Department reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse acceptance of an order.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

You cannot cancel an order (or part of an order) after the purchase transaction has been authorised and approved. i.e. you cannot cancel the order after the Checkout process.

3. Local Return Policy

3.1. If the item you received is faulty, please contact us at 65518937 within 3 days upon acceptance of delivery. Please provide us your Invoice number, your name, and details of the Product’s faults, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will also require you to return us the product.

3.2. Please bring the faulty Product during Sales Centre operating hours to the Sales Centre located at:

3.3. Upon receipt of the Product, we will examine it and advise you on your right to a replacement or refund (if any).

3.4. In the event that the Product returned is deemed not faulty, we may at our discretion decide not to repair, replace or refund you for the Product.

4. Overseas Return Policy

4.1. If the item you received is faulty, please contact us via email within 3 days upon acceptance of delivery. Please provide us your Invoice number, your name, the details and a picture of the Product’s faults, and whether you require a refund or a replacement.

4.2. Customer has to return the said faulty product and bear the return freight charges. Upon receipt of it, our staff will examine it and advise you on your right to a replacement or refund (if any) via email within 5 business days.

4.3. Please send the product to:

4.4. If the Product is proven faulty, we will send the replacement product via the deemed best method. The carriage cost will be borne by SSA. Normal delivery lead time applies.

4.5. In the event that the Product returned is deemed not faulty, we may at our discretion decide not to repair, replace or refund you for the Product. We may require you to pay all reasonable carriage costs and servicing costs at our current standard fees. This will be charged to your credit or debit card via the payment method that you used when you made your Order in the first instance.

5. Stock Availability

We cannot guarantee the availability of every item or product published online as inventory may change from day to day. In a rare case, an item may be in stock when you add to cart and sold out by the time your order is processed. In such a circumstance, we will inform you via email and process the cancellation of your order, at no charge to you.

6. Product Exchange

If the Product received is different from what is stated on the invoice, there will be a one-to-one exchange for the same product.

6.1. Local Exchange
6.1.1 To exchange a product, please contact us at 6551 8937 within 3 days upon receiving the goods. All products to be exchanged have to be returned to us in their original packaging and must be accompanied with the sales invoice with the date of purchase and product number clearly indicated for verification.

6.2. Overseas Exchange
6.2.1 To exchange a product, please email the picture of the product to esalesenquiry@ssabuddhist.org for verification within 3 days upon receiving the goods. All products to be exchanged have to be returned to us in their original packaging and must be accompanied with the sales invoice with the date of purchase and product number clearly indicated for verification.

6.2.2 Customer has to return the said product and bear the return freight charges. Upon receipt of it, our staff will examine it and advise you on your right to an exchange or refund (if any) via email within 5 business days.

We will send the replacement product via best method upon approval. We may require you to pay all reasonable carriage costs and servicing costs at our current standard fees. 7. Pricing

All prices are inclusive of GST and are in Singapore dollars. Delivery fee will be charged where applicable.

SSA Sales Department reserves the right to make adjustment to any published price of any product due to input error, product discontinuation, and stock clearance, upon indications from manufacturers and distributors, and errors in advertising.

Whilst we do our best to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Site are accurate, there may be instances where errors occur. If we discover an error in the price of any Product which you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your Order at the correct price or cancelling it.

8. Delivery

8.1. For local delivery, you can choose between home delivery or self-collection at SSA Sales Centres. Upon delivery of the Product for home delivery, the person who receives the Product will be required to sign on a mobile device to acknowledge receipt of the Product.

8.2. Overseas delivery will be via air freight.

8.3. The delivery option that you choose and the destination of the order will determine the delivery charge and the time required for the delivery.

8.4. Self-collection of items purchased can be collected at any one of the following SSA Sales Centres. Please provide sales invoice for verification.

8.5. Customs Duties
Singapore Soka Association does not charge any customs duty on international shipments, however we cannot guarantee that customs duties will not be applicable to your package when it reaches your country. We are required by law to declare the contents of international packages containing books, music, or video and to state the full value of the shipment, even if the package contains a gift. We are not responsible for these duties and cannot provide estimates as to what these duties may be. You may wish to contact your local customs office or post office for further information.

9. Payment

We accept only Stripe, Visa, & Credit Cards through Stripe. International customers should note that all prices quoted are in Singapore Dollars inclusive of 7% GST (all charges are in Singapore Dollars), so the bank that owns your credit card must support your payment in this manner. You will be charged according to the prevailing exchange rate on the day that your bank posts the transaction.
